I am also obligated, by law, to keep records of this aforementioned proof of ownership for a minimum of 3 years. The DVLA enforces that all number plate traders NEED to see proof of ownership PRIOR to receiving payment otherwise they, as a trader, are breaking the law! If proof of ownership has not sent and a purchase has been made, the number plate purchased WILL NOT have the relevant legal information displayed on the number plate and will therefore be illegal to be used on UK roads… The required BS marking, Company Information & Postcode will be displayed on the selected number plate, so long as proof of ownership has been seen. The aforementioned information displayed is currently, BSAU 145d, JDM Plates & NR31 8HU respectively! Our number plates are made from high quality materials, consisting of industry standard optically clear poly-carbonate. We use high quality reflective vinyl and double sided adhesive with UV and chemically resistant properties. All of the materials that we use to build our number plates conform to BSAU 145d which result in a high quality finish! Note:- If your registration number has either a 1 or an I, then you can legally have a smaller number plate than what is currently listed.
