Another impressive vintage release of Ancnoc from the Knockdhu distillery. Bottled at 46%ABV without artificial colouring and non chill-filtered. Maturation takes place in a combination of American and Spanish oak caks, imparting attractive vanilla, honey and citrus aromas and flavours, plus plenty of richer sherried fruit and spice.===Tasting NotesColour – Bright Amber.Nose – Packed with notes of spicy Christmas cake, liquorice and toffee. Creamy vanilla and ground spices then follow, all wrapped up in the classic honey and citrus flavours so typical of anCnoc.Taste – Chocolate adds another level of sweetness contrasted by orange zest and a hint of leather. The finish is long and warming with a spicy kick.
