At Benriach Distillery they are known for doing things a little differently, following in the footsteps of their intrepid founder, John Duff, who pursued whisky adventures as far afield as South Africa and Kentucky, before building Benriach Distillery in 1898, in the heart of Speyside.They have developed a reputation for innovative maturation, using an eclectic mix of cask types. This beguiling Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been matured for at least twenty-one years in a combination of four types of casks: bourbon barrels, virgin oak casks, Pedro Ximenez sherry casks and red wine casks.
