Brolene Eye Drops 0.1% w/vBrolene Eye Drops are used for minor infections of the eye or eyelid and contain propamidine isetionate which stops the growth of bacteria, allowing your body to fight off the infection. Signs of minor eye infections include sore, red or inflamed eyes, stickiness or a crust on the eyelids.How to use this medicine:Wash your handsRemove the cap from the bottleTilt your head backSqueeze one or two drops inside the lower lid without touching your eyeClose your eyeWipe away any excess liquid from the eyes with a clean tissueAlways put the cap back on the bottle as soon as you have used itHow much to use:One or two drops in the affected eye up to four times a dayUse for at least 2 daysIf your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 2 days, talk to your doctor or pharmacistIf you forget a dose, use your drops as soon as you remember. However, if it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.Do not stop using Brolene Eye Drops just because your eye(s) feel better. If you stop, your infection may come back. If this happens, do not drive or use any tools or machines until you can see clearly.Brolene Eye Drops contains benzalkonium chloride. This may cause your eyes to become irritated. You should avoid contact of the drops with soft lenses. You should remove contact lenses prior to using the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before you put your contact lenses back in. You might notice a change in the colour of your contact lenses.—
