The prestigious Ferlosa Quarry based in the Ourense region of northwest Spain is well known for producing quality roofing slate. With practically no pyrite naturally present they are able to produce a consistent, flat slate with ultra-fine ribbon flakes giving the slate a beautiful lightly textured finish.
The slates produced are grey in colour and known as Graphite. We love the textured appearance and a regular favourite with roofers nationally. We find our regular customers are northern England and Scotland as they prefer thicker slates, these slates are ideal. Their thickness makes them extremely strong and durable at the same price as a standard slate.
Available in Standard Class- Heavy 9-10mm thick
