Kiln Dried Hardwood Cladding Which is a great alternative to Canadian WR Cedar or Siberian Larch. SPECIFICATION: Grade: FAS/FAS1F Nominal Size: 25x125mm Finished Size: 19x119mm Face Cover: 110mm Lengths: 4.9m Profile: V-Groove Lineal metres needed per square metre: 9.09m 100% FSC Certified Description: This lovely clear grade hardwood has a great colouring and very few if any visible knots. It has a good durability rating similar to Siberian Larch but not quite as high as Canadian Western Red Cedar, Equally it has a very interesting grain and slight colour variation across the board from a light pinkish colour to a dark reddish pink. We think this is a fantastic sustainable option of natural timber and we hope you do too. TREATMENT: You do not need to apply any treatment to the timber as it is naturally durable although we recommend using Osmo 420 UV Oil (we supply) to enhance the appearance as this will prevent it from turning silver (which some customers love) it is important to apply a fresh coat every 2 – 5 years to retain the colour. If you do miss this time frame it is quite easy to get it back so don’t panic, Just get the sander out!
