It is made from top grade New Zealand wool and has a strong cotton back with reinforced edges. The wool is twisted in to pile which ends up about 10cm long. This means that when it is laid flat it appears about 5cm thick. These rugs have been designed with the knots closer together than on other rugs and in a checkerboard pattern to make the rugs better than similar lower quality shaggy wool rugs which improves the evenness of the pile. They are made of luxuriously deep shag pile that feels and looks wonderful. It will last for many years and with years of use, the wool will develop a lustre. The colour is a mix of two brown colours. Specification Care & Maintenance: Caring for your Fusilli rug is easy. Generally, all you need to do is beat them and shake them. The wool is stain resistant, but if there are any marks, just use a damp cloth. Do not vacuum the rug as this may undo the twist, so it is best to just beat them and shake them.
