Urgotul Absorb Border with Technology Lipido Colloid DressingsUrgoTul Absorb Border is a an absorbent foam dressing with a silicone adhesive border and the TLC healing matrix (Technology Lipido-Colloid)across the wound contact layer to optimise wound healing.Providing all the benefits of TLC (Technology Lipido Colloid)- Moist Wound Healing Environment- Increased stimulation of fibroblast proliferation- Promotes wound healing- Optimises reconstruction of dermis and epidermis- Improvement of surrounding skin- Less risk of maceration- Clinically proven in over 36,000 patients- Pain-free dressing change- No trauma or disturbance to the wound bedINDICATIONSUrgoTul Absorb Border is indicated for the treatment of low to moderately exuding wound.- Acute wounds: Minor burns, traumatic wounds, dermabrasions, post-operative wounds- Chronic wounds: Arterial leg ulcers, mixed aetiology leg ulcers, and pressure ulcersPRECAUTIONS- Single-use, individual sterile dressing (sterilised by ethylene oxide); re-using a single-use product may lead to risk of infection- If clinical signs of local infection are noted, an antibacterial dressing from the Urgo range (e.g UrgoClean Ag), may be used dependent on local protocol.- Any surrounding hair should be cut close to the skin to ensure good contact with the wound- If cream, ointment or emulsion are used, the skin should be allowed to dry before applying the dressing.- The dressing pad should not be cut as this will affect the absorbent layer. The adhesive border may be cut to shape if required.—
