The cartridge itself – ie the plastic casing – can work for at least 2 or 3 years. And it’s refillable So instead of us sending you a new cartridge every time you need to change, and you throwing the casing away, this way we simply send you this refill media sachet. The only downside is that you have to pour the media into the cartridge yourself – But this is very easy to do. It only takes literally a couple of minutes and we send you full and easy instructions. Plus you get a discount ! What’s not to like? It’s a win / win – for you (all of us!) and our planet. Please note that we could also reduce the carbon cost of the delivery. So you might prefer to get two bags instead of just the one. The media will store perfectly well if kept in a cool dry place – and this saves on unnecessary deliveries. You simply pour it into the cartridge every time you need
