This Slate is ONLY Supplied in Traditional, Random and Diminishing Course Format and one tonne will produce 20m2 when holed for a 75mm head lap. If in doubt please give us a call to discuss your requirements.
Burlington Blue is a Premium slate quarried north of Kirkby on furness with in the Lake district, and has been quarried here for over 400 years. The stone quarried here is used for multiple purposes such as wall covering, floor covering and slate roofing.
The slate is an even blue throughout and is admired throughout the architectural profession for its natural beauty. The slate has a riven texture and is known for its durability and strength.
Slate size is 22″-10″ (550mm x 250mm) and is Premium Grade Quality. (also known as “best”)

Traditionally identified as part of Lancashire before a politicians pen “moved” the border to place them now in Cumbria.
