Burlington Blue is a Premium slate quarried north of Kirkby on Furness within the Lake District and has been quarried here for over 400 years. The stone quarried here is used for multiple purposes such as wall covering, floor covering, and slate roofing.
The slate is blue and is admired throughout the architectural profession for its natural beauty. The slate has a riven texture and is known for its durability and strength.
Slate size is 20″-10″ (500mm x 300mm) and is Premium Grade Quality. (also known as “best”)
