We are proud to supply the LV11 Lousavel Natural Spanish slate, quarried from the “La Fraguina” mine. Which is renown for being the worlds largest Slate Mine they have been mining here since 1968. The Quality of the slate produced from this mine by far exceeds all national and European testing standards making it an easy favourite for customers and professional roofers alike, the slate is extremely consistent and easy to install.
The slate produced is a dark blue/ grey in colour and is flat and has a smooth texture.
Premium Class 5-6mm thick, Premium grade slates are ultra smooth and are allot more uniform, and need little grading.
